These guys won the last
tournament that Slo-2-Pitch held... We didn't feel
too good about ourselves after they tossed an 11
spot on the board after one inning. We rallied for
1 in the bottom half to make it a game. 7 put more
on the board in the 2nd. Game Match Set.

Same score, different result. We
thought we had these guys, after putting a 10 spot
on in the 4th inning. In typical Cruiser fashion we
gave it away in the 7th by allowing 7 runs. Down by
2 with one out, the top of the line-up came up, but
couldn't deliver.

Our bats still didn't show up,
but we came out ready to play this time. They held
an 8-3 going into the 7th inning, and we rallied
for 5 runs to tie it up. Bottom of the line-up
killed us in this game, as we had scored 5 and they
came up and went 1-2-3. Holes put one on in the
bottom half, and took the win.

As the day grew hotter, our legs
got more tired. We qualified for the single elim
b/c both Taz & us went 1-3. We went on
run-differential. nice. Basically, we win 2 more
games, we win the tourny. Again, we played great
defense, but the bats did not wake up. After
scoring 2 in the first inning, we couldn't hit a
lick. Day is done.
