Personal Notes: Sammons was a realitive unknown until he reared his head at an Elks League softball game in June of 2004. His first comments were, "Hey Rome, when do I get one of those powder blue shirts?" He is also a noted bowler, carrying a career 202 average in the lane. Sammons claim to fame is "dropping bombs". He says, "whether it be at the softball fields, or in the comfort of a public restroom, I absolutly love to drop bombs." Sammons is also a big proponent of getting "POWDER BLUE DICKIES" for the club. "I say we get 'em. really, can any man have ENOUGH powder blue gear?" He joined the Santa Ana Elks Lodge in 2005.

Madden Cruiser Highlights: Sammons hit a three run HR in a Madden Cruiser loss that brough the team within one run in the final inning.
