Self Gloss:
Played Baseball All of my life
growing up in the Great Northwest (you know when we
could, in between rains showers and what
not). Tried to make a go of it in collge,
played two years at Skagit Valley College (a little
history, Skagit was perenially the worst team
in the league. I went to another college in
the state, Wenatchee Valley College, and opted to
go Skagit after sitting out a year as a
redshirt) in Mt. Vernon, Washington. I
was the starting Second basemen for two
years. I was Voted a Sophomore All-Star in my
Second year. I played on summer of semi-pro
ball for a club called the Bellingham Bells of the
Pacific International League. The Bells won
the league in their innagural season (1998) and
earned a birth to the National Baseball Congress
World Series in Wichita, Kanas. I was lucky
enough to a be a member of that team. I t
was the true pinnacle in my baseball
career. But that's the last baseball I would ever
play.
Personal Notes:
Rob Stiles is a hobbit. His closest
friends and dearest enemies playfully call him
Bilbo Baggins. Infact on Decemeber 12th, 2003 Bilbo
was quote as saying "Dude...Hobbits do so have
normal size genetalia." Was discovered by
MaddenCruiser.com talent agent, Dan Romero on the
CASlowPitch.com softball
site. He gave up baseball to activlely persue a
career in slow pitch softball. He attended
Washington State
University and the Eward R. Murrow School of
Communication. He studied there for two years
where he hosted, starred in and produced many
successful College TV Shows. This does not include
the "DAN ROMERO" show which appeared in Orange,
Tustin and Santa Ana. Currently Works in
television in Burbank (rumored to be in
gay porn). Has never bowled,
and refuses to consider playing in a Burbank based
bowling team called the Pin Dotters. His name was
utilized in the Michael J. Fox epic, "Teen Wolf".
"I am paid royalities every time the movie is run."
Was called shmiddy in his first Cruiser appearence,
but the name Stiles soon stuck. He broke his leg in
the line of duty and made his return to the
Cruisers one year later (March 7, 2004).
Madden Cruiser
Highlights:Batted .625 (.688
OB%) in his Cruiser debut out at the Yard in
